Contingency Placement Fee Agreement A contingency agreement is used when an employer agrees to pay a fee to the recruiter that equals a percentage of the hired candidate's annual salary.  The recruiter gets paid contingent on their candidates getting hired by an employer.
Temporary Staffing & Consulting Contract Temporary staffing & consulting contracts are used between an employer and a recruiter (or consulting firm) when the employer needs the services of a worker on a temporary basis, and the worker is provided by the recruiter who pays the worker directly for performing labor for the employer. 
Retained Search Agreement A retained search agreement is used when an employer agrees to pay a recruiter before starting a search assignment.  The retainer solidifies the commitment to fill a position or group of job openings.
Hourly Contract Recruiting Agreement An hourly contract recruiting agreement is used between an employer and recruiter when the recruiter is being paid an hourly rate to conduct a employment search for candidates.
Shared Placement Fee Agreement Shared placement agreements allow one recruiter to match their job orders with another recruiter's candidate in an attempt to make a shared placement with the placement fee money being split between the two recruiters.
